Hey there, you’ve found me. Here’s what you need to know. I love kids. I love books. And I love writing books about characters who conquer everyday problems. I taught in East Aurora, IL for a boatload of years so I have a lot of real-life stories to use in my books. Now, I’m an author, educational consultant, and literacy advocate. On the T-days I volunteer in a third-grade classroom at Drake Elementary School in Bronzeville. I live in Chicago and have a B.A. degree in English, and a Masters Degree in Bilingual Literacy. I’m also certified in ESL and Reading. In my free time, I read books on the beach, make quilts, and visit my grandkids. I like sunsets, snowflakes, flowers, campfires, and popcorn while I watch movies with characters that make the world a better place.
